Mitch has been involved in Accountancy and Tax since 1984. He has an honours degree in Accounting and Finance and is a professionally qualified Taxation Technician. Mitch was a Management Accountant for over 6 years with a major airline and Financial Controller for over 3 years with a renowned golf retail chain.
On his father’s retirement, Mitch left the commercial sector to take over his father’s accountancy practice. On Mitch’s initial involvement, there were 40 personal and small business tax clients which has now grown to over 250 clients consisting of small and medium size businesses together offering all levels of tax advice and accounts preparation. Presently, there are also 3 bookkeepers with varying levels of professional qualifications assisting the practice in all areas of accountancy compliance.
The client base is spread across a vast range of businesses and personal tax compliance issues including areas that require specialist tax advice to a specific need.
Mitch lives with his partner Jackie, who runs a theatre arts company. He is a keen golfer and is a member of two local clubs! He also enjoys walking their lovely whippet, Ruby the Dog, as a keen attempt to keep fit! He and Jackie are also following the Couch to 5k running programme! Mitch lives in Caterham and is currently developing plans for an office in that area.
